Frequently asked questions

The short answers to what people ask before they connect a key.

Why does my Apple Watch vibrate even in Silent mode?+

TickTap sends alerts as critical notifications through Bark. iOS lets critical notifications sound through Silent and Focus mode, and a paired Apple Watch taps along with the iPhone.

How often are prices checked?+

Every minute, around the clock. A price alert fires once when its target is reached; position alerts can fire again after a cooldown you choose.

Which exchanges and markets are supported?+

Price alerts work on crypto pairs listed on OKX and Binance, and on A shares, Hong Kong and US stocks. Position, liquidation and fill alerts work with OKX and Binance accounts, and more exchanges can be added.

Is my exchange API key safe?+

Use a key with read permission only: it cannot trade or withdraw. The key is verified with the exchange before it is saved, and its secret and passphrase are encrypted and never sent back to the browser.

Stop staring at charts. Let your wrist tell you.

Set your targets once, put the phone away, and let your Apple Watch tell you when it matters.
